Now that spring is here in the Sacramento Valley I am excited to say I have been putting some extra time in with my clay pot garden. My garden is mostly herbs and succulents plus one large sun gold tomato plant. As of yet I have not had any ripe tomatoes but I have been adding lots of fresh herbs into our food.
I had a little free time this past weekend with my macro lens. So I thought why not capture some beautiful photos of my spring garden.
The sun was setting as I went out with my camera which gave me some amazing light and color! I am so excited I have posted a few of my favorites below but before you look I have a clay pot garden tip for you.
Sometimes I find when trying to water my plants that the dirt will Wash away when Iām pouring water into the potted plant. If you take one large rock or a few small rocks you can set them on the soil. Next time you go to water your plant pour the water on the roucks and it will stop all your soil from rushing away!
