I recently got to take a fun trip from my hometown of Sacramento, California to Phoenix, Arizona with my mom Claudia and boyfriend Paul. This was a quick trip, only 36 hours in total! We were there to see our all-time favorite Los Angles Dodgers play Paul’s favorite team, the Cleveland Indians.
After leaving the airport we hurried to our hotel. When walking into the door you see Dodgers and White Sox flags lining the entry. It was the perfect start to our trip. We hustled to our room and switched into all of our team gear. A quick rest and we were off to see the Dodgers at their practice field at Camelback Ranch located in Glendale, Arizona.
It was such an exciting feeling as we walked up seeing Dodgers players in an arm’s reach of us. Little kids, families, couples and die-hard fans lining the fences with their pens, papers, and balls hoping for signatures from their favorite players. Even though we only saw the end of practice it was still a great time! We had a short wait between the practice and the game we came to see. So While I had the chance I captured a few images of the outside of the gorgeous stadium for my memory. Lining the outside of the stadium was some of the most beautifully grown cacti. The time has come we are having our tickets scanned as we entering the park. The partly cloudy sky with a magnificent Arizona sunset was the perfect backdrop to the baseball game. Sadly I do have to report the Dodgers did lose, but the Indians won so Paul was excited. LOL
The next morning before our flight back to Sacramento we wanted to see some more Arizona scenery. We made it fun and just chose a random state park on maps to go visit. We ended up going to White Tank Mountian Regional Park. The park was amazing! Cacti for miles and beautiful desert flowers everywhere. It was a great way to end an amazing trip with my mom and Paul.
